My editor wont work

For a while now my civ3 editor just wont start. I double click the icon the pointed becomes a hour glass and nothing happens.

I have the most patched version of c3c if it helps

Have you going through the start menu? Reinstalling?

its not on the start menu anymore cause i dragged it off their for my games folder. It worked like that for ages. i dont want to reinstal cause the cd is kinda scracted and i dont know if it would hold out. we shall see.

Seems to be a fairly common error. I have the same. Any thoughts folks?
