My Great Prophet Game

On this game with Liz I decided to produce only Great Prophets and Lightbulb nothing. The map was Islands, thus no worry about the AI boxing me. Prince Level, Standard Map. I play Warlords.

First Priority: Get a triple shrine Capital
I was lucky and got Agriculture from a Hut early on.
It was easy (Working the Water tiles, building workboats): Mysticism -> Poly
After Poly, I put one worker on my best production tiles in order to spead up the workboats production.
After that I researched:
Masonry -> Monotheism -> Priesthood -> Bronze Working -> Writing
I chopped the Oracle and got Code of Laws.

I was lucky to get stone on my second city and I built the Pyramids and Hanging Gardens. Later on I built Angkor Walt and University of Sankore. I'm planning to build The Spiral Miranet before going to war.

After that I could build Settlers. My worst slider was 70%. Now I'm running 100% with a small loss. Here is my capital, nothing too special about my start.

Only +9 for the confucian and hindu shrines? You would be better off with 2 more settled prophets.

Well, I have thought about that. I'm getting many Great Prophets, so I guess I could wait until:
1) It´s worth to build the shrine because of gold, or
2) I need more room to priests

Now I see I have built two shrines too early. They are really starting to give profit now. Thanks.
