My Little Pony Achievement

The My Little Pony achievement doesn't seem to work on G&K. I haven't unlocked it, even though I have repeatedly played games on Settler difficulty and Duel Maps as Catherine and immediately researched Animal Husbandry, even on maps like "Ice Age" where I would assume animals are sparse. I have also disabled goody huts and I have specifically chosen a civ that was not Atilla for my opponent. I have tried many, many times and it simply will not unlock. I have also disabled the expansion pack, but that doesn't work either. I have also tried to unlock it in hotseat mode, because the We Are Family achievement is bugged and unlockable in hotseat mode, and I thought that perhaps this achievement would be similar. Has anyone else had this problem?

Make sure the "Disable Reward Popups" option is not checked.

It's not checked. I've been able to unlock other achievements since G&K, including vanilla achievements.

Yes, it worked just fine. I don't know what the problem was before. I guess this thread can be closed now.

Sounds like it actually is bugged in G&Ks and won't work there. (my save is a vanilla save )
