... which I'm getting this thursday in time for the weekend. :)

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
2 x 512 MB RAM
256 MB GeForce 6800 PCI Express card
Western Digital 160 GB HDD
LG GSA-4167B CD/DVD-ROM
Windows XP Home

Will it be enough for the highest settings, biggest maps, all civs? :)

Very nice... sounds expensive. I'm working hard on getting a comp in a couple of months that is basically the same apart from a A64 3000+ CPU and a GF6600 instead. While I don't have practical experience with the game, then considering what I've read then both systems should do fine.

If anything then RAM should be the bottleneck. Not anything else. Do let me know how it will run for you... and don't forget to update drivers ;)

Looks nice Bast. Now with the Ram, does your new mother board have 4 slots? If that is the case then later on you can add 2 more 512Mb sticks and it will be perfect. :D It Should run everything...but you never know with this darn game.

I'm pretty sure it has 4 slots.

Anyone had problems with any of this hardware?

Some people have problems with LG DVD drives, with the game not recognizing the CDs (US version) or DVD (EU/AU version)

With my current specs, I am able to run the game on HIGH graphics settings and max resolution with better than average performance. I've only played at most an hour though, just got the video card today, and i have midterms so not much time to play.
