That is as close as I will get to Civ3 for awhile
 
Very nice; put's mine to shame! If I had any webspace, I'd be glad to post a screenshot, but, as an improvosation, a concise description will do.

OS:
Windows 95 (a later version - the one that actually allows uninstall without the "attrib" command or whatnot)
Resolution:
1024x768x8-bit color
Wallpaper:
No bitmap; rather, my own custom pattern (where 0, white, 1, black)

I don't have the time to refine it. The "Alias" feature of MacOS seems a bit less crude, doesn't it?

How do you get a print screen of your desktop? and yes I tried cntrl> print screen

Well, a simple push of a "Print Screen" button does the trick. This copies the image of a desktop to clipboard, so launch your favourite image editing program (even paint will do) and do Edit->Paste.

Well, you've given me a good idea - Civ desktop. I think I'll work on it and tell you the results.
