Anyone had any of their units just drop dead while standing on a jungle square for ages? I just witnessed one of my knights just die on me because of desease, so the caption said! That was weird.

It has happened to me, too, after parking one unit on jungle for ages(it took many turns to happen).

You should not leave units on the three diseased tile types or they will die after a few turns. These are:
1) Jungle
2) Flood plains (safe after sanitation)
3) Marsh (in C3C)

i wonder if you disable the "causes disease" flag in the editor if it will cure this issue.

Hi John, I bet you already know the answer to that ;) . What is your new
avatar about? :scan: Just curious.

greg!

where've ya been?

i guess it will work... i was genuinely asking though.

re the avatar:
it's a picture of Emilio Aguinaldo who was the leader of the Filipino insurgent forces vs the americans in the philippines, 1899-1902. i'm doing my thesis on it the Philippine-American War. not many people know about this war either...

Yes it will stop units dying. It is the fact that a unit is standing in a diseased tile that is the problem, not the specific type of terrain. If for example you edited grassland to cause disease then units would die on those tiles too.

My Gallic Warrior died like that. :( Poor dude.

But yeah, I learned my lesson. Malaria is a mean foe.

Well...D'you mean from disease? :( Or just molten lava upwards of 1300 degrees Fahrenheit being poured upon his head? :crazyeye:
