Lava. It said something like, "our worker is toast!"
By the way (shameless hijacking attempt), what's the damage radius of a volcanic eruption? 1 tile? 2?
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it's two tiles (potentially; I think I've seen way more one-tile flows).
I've witnesed lava 2 tiles away from volcano ... which shocked me because it missed not only a worker slave just completing a mine but also a city.
Regarding cities destroyed were they pop = 1 or larger?
i like how it takes 50 years (in early B.C.) for a unit with one movement point to move 1 tile while the volcano can spit lava the same amount of distance almost instantly.
The troops would be ok if they wore their magic helmets.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one suffering!
Now I know to clear away jungles whenever possible, and never put a city there unless you have a load of workers at hand, or there is a resource tile there.
