First the question: Is this the right place to ask about a name change? (Katlover97 got old once I turned 14 or so) If not, where ought it to be taken? I'd imagine private messages, but I don't know where to find a list of admins, and I think the last time I PMed an administrator, it turned out not to be an administrator anymore or something..

Now on to the name changing bit. I know I can't do it myself, so I was wondering if it would be possible for an admin to change my name from katlover97 to Zalethon, or if I could get permission to create another account with that name?

Name change requests, I think, should be sent (via PM) to our benevolent dictator and admin, Thunderfall. But don't expect a change very quickly because they're at the bottom of his to-do list, apparently. :)

Catharsis is right. And Thunderfall is our only admin, but he'll get to it. Just be patient on that.

Be very patient. I sent a request back in July, and as you can see, nothing yet. So don't expect it to happen overnight.

Actually it took him a day to change mine... and we're in different time zones!

Thanks, Thunderfall!

LOL "benevolent dictator and admin, Thunderfall"

I just created a new account, why should I care about how many post I've written?

My nickname got old and childish as well.

If you are going to do that kind of thing, you should at least post your old name so it can be deleted and not clutter things up.

:shake:

Why on earth would you want to change your name? It's awesome.

I'm guessing he wants it changed to Subi, given that's what half of us call him anyway. I do think SuperBeaver sounds better as his actual name though :)

Yeah me too, in fact it was a pretty much on the spot that my name was changed... but then again, that was a few years ago back in the day when they liked me around here

Well, I was worried more about the rules. I had understood that it was against the rules to have two accounts, or at least once I was asked if my brother was me...

My nickname got old and childish as well.

Oh? What was it? :P

yah i'm having some problems. I have a brother who is frequently screwing things up and posting stuff in CFC under my name. I was wondering if i'd be allowed to have an account for him. But it's against the rules :(

I don't like it all that much anymore. It sounded good when I was 15, but that was 4 years ago. And Subi is the name I use online now, everywhere except here.

It is indeed against the rules to have two accounts.

IIRC can have more then one account, but when you create the new account the old account can't be used anymore. Lt. Killer M/carlosmm is an example. Sometime people want to get away from the stigmata of their old account.

So long as your brother is 13, or your parents allow it, there should be no problem with your brother having an account.

Otherwise, the solution is to not check the "remember me" box and to make sure you are logged out when you leave the computer. That way, so long as your brother doesn't know your password, he can't make posts under your account.
