Naming Stuff Thread

Not sure where to stick this till we get a "Heroes of the Council" thread… so I'll put it here for safe keeping till then.

I'd like to call it Hall of Fame or alike. But I don't know what to post in the opening post

EDIT: Great Poster, GW - I should send you a copy of my desktop image sometime..... But I think that Chamsuri is not likely to be a fiberglass boat. I'lll look around for a more 'culturally significant' example, and maybe we can arrive at something together

Well - I did a re-work of the image to put a Curragh in that looks more like Chamsuri.
Had some issues with the sky background... but on the small image I don't think it looks too bad.
I'd welcome anyone who actually has artistic skill at this sort of thing to take a stab at it!

We do have a warrior that deserves honorable mention. While he doesn't come close to Chamsuri's feats, Woon-jae defeated the Yue Chi single handedly.

We will settle a new town soon. Any ideas for names? I like The Meeting Room. Rather appropriate for a town that will build curraghs...

EDIT: and we will have another boat in 4 turns. Do we have a name list for that?

The Pier or The Docks would be my favorites - guess that's because I'd never heard the word The Ways before, and that it gives me very different connotations. Just to add to the chaos even more, I'd like to propose The Shipwrights.

We don't have a list for ship names. The only two we've had besides Chamsuri were CC The Chamber and CC The Admiralty.

This probably doesn't help much, but I really like "The Shipwrights"

I also like "The Meeting Room" - but I'd save it for an inland town.
The others (The New Yard, Piers, Docks, Ways) are also very good as well, and should be saved somewhere for our future costal towns, imho.

Ship names... how about CC Aerok (Korea backwards... and sounds cool )

The Naval Stores
The Slipway
The Marina
The Naval Academy (or Chamsuri Naval Academy)

I quite like The Naval Stores, quite appropriate for a city building wooden ships, I also like The New 'Yard.

Or we could forget all the above and name the city after that once great maritime city, Liverpool (only joking)
