I'd say Regentman's is the best flag so far. Though, to be honest, how important is our nation's flag exactly? I didn't even know DG5 had a flag until I saw it on this thread. What say we keep our focus on more pressing matters.

I think Regentman's flag could use some graphic in the middle of the top 3 stripes (covering the middle of all 3 stripes).

I think we should have a clean official flag and then a heraldic flag. I suggest adding the NATO navigational star in the center to show our Naval Power.

I also agree that Regent Mans is by far the best choice for a flag.

I know, but I fancied diagonal stripes because that means the flag can be flown upside down as a sign of distress.

Ok, I shouldn't be spending time on this, but everyone needs a few minutes break right? So I've quickly knocked together this:

It's the flag of St George (the English Flag) in Civ Fanatics red with six stripes for DG6 in the Civ colour of Orange. I've also offset them (not very well) in the manner of the Union Flag just in case anyone does get into distress and wants to fly it upside down.

I think our best bet would be to meld Furiey's flag with the six stripes Regentman suggested (I mean his first suggestion, I think having the flag in the corner looks better than having it take up one whole side). I'm pretty much photoshop illiterate, but I'm sure you could imagine what it would look like. In my eyes, that would be the best choice for our flag.
