Nationstates is stupid. I don't understand why people like it, it's boring. The only good thing is the RPing, and anyone can create their own forum for that without having random n00bs coming in to say "M3 n00kd j00 HAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Edit: the Population thing is really ******** to. Anyone know of a fun, logical, free online nation simulation game?

I do RP in the portuguese forum, and it's ver funny. that forum is almost another world. i do RP also in Europe forum with other nation: centric.

All 6 of me, huddled in one galaxy, building up our forces and S.P.A.C.E. Shipyard. I need to get around to working on those Homeworld 2 ships. I also am still looking for a good region.

EDIT: Anyone else have problems with trying to get real life friends to even LOOK at the site?

I used to have fun with it. I got bored and quit, though.

I played the "game" for about a week, and realized there was no real point to it, being that there was no real "war" or fighting, furthermore how dull and boring it was because of this... so... I would have to say this is one of the most unrealistic, and pointless things on the web which is not even worthy of the title "game"...

The stupidest things were the populations. If I were to RP, I'd rather RP realistic populations based on my county's size, economy, etc. There could be all sorts of n00bs saying "OMGLOL! My country has 3 billon ppl, so my armeee cum in to pwn j00!"

How about we save nationstates dissing for another thread? Especialy you capnahdharr and Fox Mccloud, if you hate the game so much then why read this thread? Some people enjoy the game, others don't, it's a fact of life. So beat it!

Well put, I would have to say though, that this may be a thread you guys/girls started but just because we vent our anger on dislike for this "game" as you put it, what I don't get is why you spend time on Nationstates when there is a MUCH more realiztic game out there (which is what this site is about) called CIVILIZATION, so due to my own personal beliefs, doesn't mean that I say you're "wrong". But I'm just giving my own input... - Have a nice day...

LOL, yeah, You know I've read that there's going to be Nation States 2. It's going to be a "pay as you play game". 5$ a month! You will need to pay 5 US$ a month, just to play it! You can get CivIV for what? 25$? You only need to pay once, and it lasts for as long as your having fun for it, so what do you think is the better deal?
