When I get Pocahontas as Founding Fathers almost all Natives Offering Defensive Pact

Can I used it for Defense against REF if Im ready to declare Independence?

Yes you can get native tribes to support you in your war against the REF.

No, not by themselves. You still have to support them with your own troops. Dragoons are best.

In my mod Age of Discovery II cannons can bombard enemy ships when the cannon is in a fortress colony.
