Ok looked the save.

Situation looks good. We can sell some techs to Sury to keep running deficit resarch. Ais are backwards, there is still room for expansion. I suggest gem/iron/rice for next one (the one overlapping the barb city - which we should culture conquier). Just need to deal with romans :sad: I 'll declare if his fleet sails toward us (somehow I still hope he doesn't get silly :lol:)

Capital should build aqueduct -> theater with some axes mixed in. Priest building can be delayed imo as we want some GS now as Obs said. (and stop spamming about this OF bug! :deadhorse: :lol:)

Some others cities can use some micro (why working 1 food gems when we can work 2f gems? - no point in delaing growth for the granary as we passed mid food bar already).

Tech path: paper -> education.

BTW, capital does not have to build a theatre until it is done in the other CRAPPY cities.


We SHOULD get our scientist soon with our golden-age we start this turn.
 
Alright just had a look.

Fantopoly should use the Fish while it waits on the Ivory, we can switch Horsies to the other gem meanwhile.

I'd like to keep Parthenon growing while we're whipping... focus on food rather than PH. We'll need as many whips as we can once it's time to get GT.

Agree to sell old techs.

We can't do anything about the Axes for now. Not like it's worth spending hammers to get anyway!
However the other city is a prime location. Keep or raze to re-settle 1N. Could share fish with the island S of it.

JC: there's nothing we can do really for now. Keep playing as we are, watch for his stack. 1 turn before he can DoW, beg 1 gold and see what he does.
If he goes through our territory, we are fine.
If not, better get cracking on the whip.
 
^^ Will have a look at the fish idea (didn't think at it though it looks interesting seeing the lack of food in the south...).

Fantopoly does not have a granary. I'm not sure working the food is worth it. I'd rather just work the fants for now and let Horsie City actually use its granary for something...

The faster it gets to pop 2, the faster it can work 2 Elephants.
Also to build a granary out of hammers, you need at least a 1F4H tile to outmatch a 5F tile.

BTW, Julius has a standard RTT of 8, so we'll need to buy at least 8 turns assuming you get to DoW first.

We should probably trade for calendar and some gold this turn (against music maybe, fred has it since a while and I sold it to Lincoln for gold and machinery - no diplo hits! -)

I am editing post 190 with more details on the set and pics. Stopped at the end of the GA which is the turn we got our GS... seems a nice turning point (though a short round :cry:) to discuss further.

Agreed. Not sure how construction fits in. Some cats could come in handy very soon. I guess we can hold and get that if really needed. I wonder why JC is delaying the attack. It must be some oversea code kicking in.

edit: @Kossing: I think I woke up the GS so u can't forget, but I am not sure... make an academy before hitting enter in any case :lol:

*Try to get all the maps we can to help circ.

*Send * Home * worker to gems island... can build another one if need be

*Do we want to wait to trade for Construction or should I tech it next? I don't want to give CS/Paper for it. So we'd have to wait to trade Music for it...
Otherwise next tech is Lib.

*Renegotiate resource deals.

*There is one remaining spot on our island we can settle (silk city). However, before we know what JC is doing it's probably best to wait.

*Spam some more troops... we can always use them to declare on someone weak.
 
Yes, we must spam, that is for sure. If Romans are tied up in a war against someone else, we can maybe make a run for Egypt, I don't know...

Anyhow, when trading for maps, try not to give your map as part of the deal, it will aid them in their circumnavigation.
 
I would wait to trade Music for construction if you can... not like we need war-elephants & cats at this moment (I don't think).

An so... Kossin... where is the current turn-set!?....
