Need a basic paint programm

Hello.

I accidentally deleted the basic mircosoft paint programm. And I can't find my Windows CD . So I thought: There must be a freeware programm that does the same. However google wasn't a great help...

So do you guys know a freeware programm with similar functions as paint?

Did you delete the program file or just the shortcut?

@The Person: Windows asked me if i wanted to delete certain programs that i don't use often. Being stupid I said yes. Somehow paint was one of these programs, although I use paint pretty often!

@Reno: Thanks, but a all these programs are too complex for me ^^. I need something very very basic.

Since you don't have the CD, going to "Add/Remove Programs" --> "Add/Remove Windows Components" won't help much... Maybe you could borrow one of your friends' Win CD.

Justs find a friend with windows and copy the mspaint.exe file. It located at %SystemRoot%\System32\mspaint.exe, or Windows/System32/mspaint.exe.

Actually, you could try to link to that incase you did only deleate the shortcuts.
