I downloaded that patch andwent to install it and then it asked me if i want to
completely remove ther selected applications and and all its components? I want to install tha patch not remove anything. did i do something wrong?

Hi!

Why don't you download the patch you need from this homepage: www.civ3.us.tt. Click "patches" on the menu and you will find the patch you need.
All langues, everything is new, and no broken links!

you screwed up.
The 1.29f is for vanilla. The patch for conquests is 1.22 - probably your vanilla is already patched, and by trying to install again it asks if you want to remove it...

Yes... If you have vanilla this may be a reason...

a picture of the error message. If you push the print scr key(above insert and delete) you take a picture..
Then you open paint and paste...

Anyway i suggest you just continue and see what happens... If you backup your saves the worst thing that may happen is that you have to reinstall civ.

it workrd right for me. not sure what the patch will do for my game.

It will allow you to play on the internet and there are less bugs...

To make sure the patch works i suggest you look down at the left corner in the startup screen. It should be a "1.22" there.

Here's a picture of it:(it may load slow)

morbror, you posted a bmp image, it's over 2 MB size (modem users will curse at you!). Next time you want to attach or link a picture, you'd better save it as JPG, it will be 100-150 kb.
