Get a pantheon that suits your surroundings, like +1 
per desert or tundra tile. 1 culture for jungle (it can potentially help with faith). If you aren't near desert or tundra maybe get a pantheon for quarries or mines (gems and marble for example). Ally religious city states, goes down the piety tree, and build faith buildings and wonders. Try building Stonehenge and you'll be off to a good start. Also get faith buildings for your religion beliefs.

It is sometimes hard to advice something blank, without knowledge if there some expansionist nearby or agressive civ.
As for guesing:
Im not sure about sacret sites and Tradicion since Sacret sites benefit from many cities (and so does piety in general) while tradicion is better when keep tall. Also postponing tradicion in general is not beneficial.
As for general tips:
Try to pick pantheon which gives faith. Of course as long as it applies to your location, otherwise Fertile Rites or Godness of Love are safe.
With opening there are (at least) 2 aproach:
Tradicion Stonehage, SP: Tradicion + Aristocracy and hard build stonehage choping whatever you can chop, then move to Piety and add Shrine and some Settlers.
Liberty spam: Start Liberty with Collective Rule and fast pump 3 new cities. Then Move to piety and pop shrines and temples, finish Piety, finish Liberty.

You might want to try playing without Ancient Ruins on. That way, you won't have to worry about another Civ getting a faith bonus from one and nabbing a Pantheon (thereby upping the faith needed to found one) before you get one. Of course, you won't have the chance to get free techs/culture boosts/unit upgrades either, but if you're playing on Prince that might not be such a problem.
