I might post some paragraphs here and there to see if I'm wandering astray. I don't want to post my entire paper because I don't know what kind of anti-plagiarism devices my professor uses. I don't want him to think I plagiarized from myself
Guess I'm too late to suggest a naval development topic: the naval arms race of the late 19th century, focusing on the German perspective. I'm a sucker for naval warfare and history (although Jutland is kind of a let-down after all that buildup).
However, I would recommend posting an outline or general comments for us to discuss here, and keep all your drafts off the board. Modern plagiarism detection software includes web-crawlers (the article I read said it basically google-searches for excerpts from your papers). Maybe somebody who has written a term paper recently and asked for help on the History boards can tell us more about their experiences, whether they were charged with the big 'P', etc.
