Need some help

Ok, I just got the game and its very good

Its like the 4th time I play the game and its year 2001 or something and I got most power.
Im babylon democracy on an island of my own and there are 4 other civ's on another big island and England is on a small island.

I was thinking of attacking the English people...so I begun my assault on their island and suddenly Mayans (I think) and China starts war with me too. But it dosent bother me...because then I start an alliance with Persia and Japan. BUT, it cant chose "alliance VS blah blah"...its not there. why? I have peace treaty with them, I trade stuff with them. And sometimes I give them some money just to be nice.

Is it a bug or something? cause it looks like its going to be a world war and im not going to win it. (I dont have rubber on my island so I cant create infantery and my riflemen gets slaughtered by them, thats because I want England, they got much rubber)

You need an embassy with a civilization to sign Military Alliances, Right of Passages, Embargoes, and Mutual Protection Pacts. Hit Shift + E to go to your Espionage screen, and select the civilization and then build an embassy with them.

When I press shift + E there I can just chose England as an option. And just spionage on them. No embassy :/

There should be an option "Build Embassy" if you haven't done one already.

Go to the F4 screen (Foreign advisor). Does England have a yellow circle next to their picture (the civs that you have embassies will). Shift + E, Select England, and then Build Embassy will create an embassy if you have enough gold (it varies depending on the civ).

Yeah...she has an embassy in one of my towns. I can just chose investigate and steal tec...oh well, what can you do

you can right click on your capitol, choose the espionage option, then click on the civ you want to build an ambassy with, click on the diplomatic, build embassy, safely, build.... that should do it.
