Need tips for Emperor and beyond

Then, I'll make another thread of me starting a new campaign, same rules, but difficulty will be demigod!

If you never made it at Demigod, it can be really tricky in a Huge map.

I remember I win the game the first time I played at this level, but it was such a challenge.

Let us know...

I'll make a new thread and link it to here, no worries!

I destroyed the Byzantines, declared war to Germany, Carthage, and Japan at the same time, I'm conquering in rapid rate now.

Who should I pick, as my demigod civ? Help me decide!

If you never made it at Demigod I think Mayans or Iroquois are the best choice.

If you did, go for Greece for a very likeable HoF table game or Mongolia to have fun.

;)

I'm thinking of picking mayans or sumerians, I think the best traits in the game are industrious, agricultural, and scientific.

My 2 cents:
Eleite cavs in an army waste their portential for a great leader, or at least why I and some other players do. I beleive units in armys can promote but don't build leaders. I'd have put vet cavs in and leader fished with the elites.

This is why one uses Elite* (ones that have produced a leader) rather than just Elite. Only one leader is ever produced per unit, so they can go into armies.

Didn't know that, thanks! Btw I finished my game on Demigod, now I'm playing on Deity!

Moving up already? :goodjob: I need to win many games at current level before I feel confident to go up to the next.

You are indeed moving up! :goodjob:
