This has nothan to do with civ...but I am tryin to upgrade my g3 from os 9.2 to os x i put the disk in and restart but it won't load past the point of choosing which language i want... the disk is spinning and I can move the mouse but that is it...Please help if you can

Is it a beige or blue G3? Which version of OS X are you trying to install? If I remember correctly, the beiges (we had one until recently) may not be able to upgrade to newer versions of OS X. Different chip, or something.

Note that on slow macs, like old g3... it takes quite a while to install it, I remember waiting like half an hour the first time I install os x and that was before i was ask what language I wanted. So may be you should let it run for some time just in case.

And make sure you use the orginal CD, because copies of OS install CD are often badly burned and impossible to use... beleive me I have experence with copies of such CDs...

Not if you own the software... if it is a backup copy... , but I admit people rarely use legal copies...

well I got a original mac os x 10.3 panther... and now when I put it in and it asks to restart the computer I do it and it boots up in os 9.2...I tried holding down c when I boot up , but all that comes up is that file icon with the ? mark...I don't know whut to do now.
