Hi everyone, new to forum so I don't know if this has been discussed before....

I've been playing on Prince difficulty, and have a thriving empire spanning roughly 30 cities or so. In the Demographics, I was first at everything, with my approval rating at 78% at its highest. But now when I check, my approval rating is -37%, and my production is -50! Whats happening here?

My second question is about Diplomats. One of my rivals captured my outpost city. When I sent my Diplomat to incite a revolt, I was given the normal 'Incite Revolt' OR to 'Subvert City' for twice the cost. What is the advantage in subverting the city?

I think it has something to do with civil disorder

Hmm...I don't think the city was in disorder when I was given the subversion option.

IIRC, when you choose subvert city, you don't break any treaties or damage your reputation (not sure about the last one).

OK, thanks for that, I should have actually looked in the FAQ to find out about Subversion.

But I still have problems with the negatives. Now my disease is -7%! Whats happening?
