Let's get Imperial.
Lieutenant: "Sir, we have begun the revolt to slavery. We should have all the dissidents rounded up soon and send to labor camps."
Grand Moff: "Excellent. This will surely help the construction of our secret weapon. This so-called "Super FASER."
Galileo has made contact with Saladin of "Arabia" and he worships somebody he calls "the Buddha." Such primitive nonsense. Technology is the only god! You aren't harboring any rebellious thoughts, are you Saladin?
Now, for our new colony. Let's see. Fish, and some production potential down the road. Yes, send our new slaves to Mon Calamari. It will begin working on a Lighthouse because we do not yet have Mysticism for the monument!
In the year 1750, we learn that someone has built a Great Wall. Fools. What good will a wall do them when our TIE Fighters are strafing their fields?
As construction of the Super FASER moves into its final stagse, a Black Cloaked Figure approaches the foreman.
Foreman: My lord! To what do I owe the pleasure?
Lord Vader: You may dispense with the pleasantries. I am here to put you back on schedule.
Foreman: I assure you, my men are working as fast as they can. The Super FASER will be completed on schedule.
Lord Vader: Perhaps I can find new ways to motivate them. The Emperor is most displeased with your apparent lack of progress.
Foreman: But I need more men!
Lord Vader: Perhaps you can tell him that when he arrives.
Foreman: The Emperor is coming here?!
Lord Vader: That is correct, foreman, and the Emperor does not share your optimistic appraisal of the situation, foreman.
Foreman: We shall redouble our efforts!
Lord Vader: See that you do, foreman. Spare no expense, and no lives, to complete the FASER.
In the frenzy of work that followed, fully half the population of Rome died in order to complete the Super FASER in time to suit the Emperor.
*Yes. With 5 turns left, I did 3-pop whip the Great Lighthouse just to be in character.*
(Um, by the way. We were supposed to get 2 more trade routes in each city, right? I'm not seeing them. Is there a bug with TGL?)
We have learned to make round things. And flat things for the round things to roll on. We'll be in space in no time.
Also, of some minor concern, brigands have taken to the seas in watercraft strikingly similar to our own primitive shuttles. Caution is advised.
The situation:
We finished the Great Lighthouse,
but we are not getting the extra trade routes. I played a test game on a similar map and got the same results. Is this some kind of bug? Or am I missing something?
Pirates have entered Roman territory and are going to tear up our fishing nets. There's not an awful lot we can do right now. I was bringing the Columbus back, but it's still too far away to assist. It has move left, though.
