Have we really abandoned Spain? We just don't feel sending in aid, military and financial, will be beneficial to democracy in Spain. Some countries do apparently.

This coming from an empire that stretches across thousands of miles, and rules over more foreign men than French citizens? About the communists: Britain cannot honor our treaty with a declaration of war on the communist rebels in the United States as Britain does not recognize a state to exist. We do, however, recognize Canada's plight and agree that something must be done to avenge the attack.

What difference is there between the Fascists and the Communists? You will fund one and fight the other? What makes the Fascists legitimate and the Communists not so?
