When forming an alliance it should show their relationship with other civilizations. I have to back out and go to that leader to see if they are at war or another ally is angry at them. Yet another place where basic data would ease interacting with the UI!

If you can use mods this one makes looking up relationships very simple.

Implemented a 'diplomacy at a glance' panel to see the relationships between other leaders.Mostly made it because I was struggling to keep track of other player wars, and also it was annoying declaring war and finding out my opponent had 6 Horses. Doesn't use any privileged information, it gets the resources from information gathered from visible cities. A spiritual successor to Sukritact's Global Relations panel from Civ VI.

Yeah but they've got a point. I use that mod too, but you still have to back out to see it. You should definitely see their relationships on the alliance screen. It doesn't seem hard to do, show your relations the same way as usual with head and symbol on your side, and theirs on the other.
