New Conquests forum?

I think we need it.
All those threads about the new expansion pack fill up the civ3 GD forum and by creation such a forum (like the PTW patch 1.21 bug forum) would keep the GD much more organized and so all the speculations about the new expansion could be lumped together in the new forum, so the threads about the game as it is now, would become less like a needle in a haystack.

What do you think?

Won't happen. This came up with PTW, and the TF's final word was that since it was Civ3, it belonged in the Civ3 forum.

Besides, I have enough subs I miss on a regular basis. . . don't need another one.

A similar idea to this came up, when PTW just came out. TF said no (IIRC), since Civ3/PTW is basically the same game...

The Civ3 forums are already cluttered, with so many of them (not even counting the subforums hiding underneath). And I'm sure CT and Padma won't appreciate the extra work...

I dont think its needed, most issues discused in the forum is´nt something that reguler civs does´nt have.

I would advocate a subforum for bug reports - looking at the last one gave me quite a shock!

From where I sit, PTW = Civ3. Conquest = Civ3. There aren't separate forums for Civ2-TOT and Civ2-MGE, are there?

If there is sufficient need, we can always create specific subforums for Conquest matters, like the PTW patch-bug forums.

That was what I was suggesting...

Last time I checked there were at least a dozen (or more) conquest threads on the first page of the GD. I think it clutters things up. But that's just my opinion, off course....

Conquest threads belong in Civ3-GD. Just like most PTW threads.

At Poly, they had a PTW forum and then closed it after PTW was released and the hype went down and merged most of its threads into the regular Civ3 forum. Would it work here, and how well?
