This laptop is brand new, and all factory software is still installed in it.
I have tried installing the Civ IV and it apparently installs all the files on both CDs and i can get as far as the "splashscreen" where it says loading, after that no error messages or popups or loading or anything (just freezes). I have tried looking for updates for my ATI card which i doubt is the problem, but still can't find what must be the problem.

T2300 @ 1.6 GHZ
1GB RAM
128MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1300
Windows XP media center edition
DVD ?? RW +- drive (not sure)
All my other games like Halflife 2 , MS flight sim 2004, Call of Duty 2, no problems.
