I dunno, I think it is only for the weekend. All I know is that he suddenly had to leave, he phoned me to post a message at CDZ (for his diplo game and all his PBEM's) and CFC (this one).
Hmm, looks like people want me to send a lightening bolt down to re-animate this zombie...consider it done. I'll be in touch soon as regarding a deadline and drafting in a temp. replacement for the Italian.
I really dunno what happened to him. I wont phone him as I dont know what is going on with him. He asked me to play his CDZ diplo game but not this game. He takes this game rather serious, the one at CDZ is already lost for him.
Until I hear different from Stapel, I will not replace him during his absense. You should wait some more; he is a dedicated player!
Well, considering that it may be something really serious e.g a bereavement etc I think we shall wait.
Ambuel could take over (I spoke to her tonight), but the deadline we'd looking at is Sunday should she take over. I say we wait as opinion is certainly divided as regarding moving on.
That Stapel is getting this extention etc is because he made the effort to give us a warning and I respect the effort he has put into the game thus far. However, if we get to Sunday evening and nothing has happened then we'll replacement his with Ambuel till/if he returns.
Hmm... I guess I can live with that, although I don't know how that will affect the game. We've already seen a strong alliance turn into the virtual destruction of Austria over a player change. I understand that one could not be avoided, but I truly hope to not change things too much.
My connection was shut down last week (for not paying the december 2004 bill.....).
In the meanwhile, we had a tragic death in the family, which is why I just got reconnected today. The funeral was yesterday, and I expect to pick up regular life, including diplo, from today.
