New Diplomacy Game: Civdip XII - Broken Resolutions

I say we wait for Stapel to return.

I feel the same. Now everyone is going to blame my victory on Stapel's NMR. How horrid! I wanted to crush him with my wits...

Really, though, I wanted to face Stapel; he seems a rather astute fellow.

Slappy is to play two powers at once?

Snigger, you wanted a greater challenge.

Actually, I'm not taking on Italy and never was. But a man can have a dream.

I'm the Martin Luther King, Jr. of Broken Resolutions?

Right, by popular demand we await the return of Stapel. The situation he is in isn't much worsened by his absence, it is still retrievable in my view.

Shall an e-mail demanding orders be sent out at Stapel's return, whenever that may be?

Yep, and the deadline will be enforced upon pain of death or at least decapitation of digits.

Stapel has no e-digits that I've seen. He does, however have six e-letters.

I propose that, upon further NMR, Stapel be publically stripped of his "l" and thenceforth referred to as merely "Stape".

Some of you may think me harsh, but I am only interpreting the voices as I hear them.

That is all.

I assume you mean e-death or e-decapitation of digits.

Wait a minute...I just parsed that.

Now I'm picturing the top joint of a pinky finger, with a tiny face inked upon it, lying at the bottom of a very tiny guillotine basket.

I just returned home. What an ass I am.

Anyway, I can continue normally again.

Okay, deadline set:

Deadline set: Fall 1906 moves to be in for Monday the 21st of March 2005 at 4 pm GMT.

Get those provisionals in ASAP.

Anyone heard or seen from Slappy?

I'm awaiting his moves and I am being fairly generous as Slappy is a pretty reliable and active player typically. Hope nothing is seriously wrong and he'll be in touch...soon!

Thanks for waiting. I just got home from work.

I sent provisionals on March 16 but, come to think of it, I never did get a mail from kOc confirming receipt, as he wontedly does. Anyway, I re-sent my mail as soon as I got word that you were waiting on Russia.

Newsflash!

The Italians hold the lines against France
Russia fends of the Germans in Vienna and weathers the seige of Warsaw, however Germany is able to take the capital St. Petersburg uncontested.

Quite right, but for some insane reason I put that e-mail in the Dancing with the Devil folder

Imperial Germany has taken possession of the Communist capital, marking the first step on the campaign to avenge our Austrian cousins for their betrayal. The Kaiser has decreed that the city of Petrograd shall be returned to its former, more Germanic name, St. Petersburg.
