Hello,
I just downloaded the single executable GOTM Windows installer for Civ3 1.29 (THANKS!!!!). It was a breeze. I had a crash on my first game, but that was explained in the readme and I moved the appropriate resources files to fix it. I'm looking forward to comparing my pitiful skills to some of the really good players here, and learning a lot in the process
But first, the plan is to experiment with a few games just using the bic scenario file. Ideally, I'll play every game with this bic and make it my default as the readme suggested. So, is there a description somewhere of the changes in the .bic and how this will effect overall strategy or city management? New units, new nationalities, new resources! A lot to learn.
Also there seem to be some resources that are not completely done, no graphic or description (whose names escape me). What are they for?
Any help would be appreciated!
