Ok, I found my C3 game and loaded this up for a look. Wow no workers, looks like a Sid AI after a few hundred turns of being at war. Sort of like cutting your throat, it will not make things better.
DC:
Make tax man and go to wealth, may as well get what you can. Would gift the town after IBT, not sure whom the lucky party should be right now. I would not want to give it to anyone at war with the Yanks as they will take it back. I would prefer to find someone that will force them to DOW to get it back or flip it later, if they can.
First town I look at is Memphis:
No Lit so no libs.
I see Chariots are in the tree, so GA is still available.
Man I do not have pop heads in vanilla, so it is a pain to see who is
unhappy/content and happy.
Switch knight to aqua. Dam, you have a cathedral, a bad idea at any
level, you cannot afford it at deity. I sell it and temple and I shudder to think
of all those shields that you could have used.
OH my, it is 510AD and the FP is not built or even started? I know in C3 and PTW the FP is a big deal, but look at the map, you are not going to be putting it up in some swell new land any time soon.
I move pop a bit. Moved off forest to mountain and move off hill to grass. The net affect is to not change the build time for the aqua and gain 1 commerce and 1 food. Now if we had some workers and chopped the trees the aqua would be up, we could mine the BG and be way ahead here.
In the very early part of the game, saving a forest to work is a useful concept. Having 8 tiles worth in your core town and it still being a town, is going to doom you in most games at this level.
Judicious chops of many of those tiles could have gotten structures up quickly and units. Oh, I forgot you do not have any workers, sorry. Did I mention that was crazy? That is as I said one of the things the AI does at Sid that lets me beat it.
What good is Steam going to do you, you won't be able to rail anything, IF you have coal. A not likely scenario with so little land, but you could get lucky and still not be able to take advantage of that break.
