Credit and thanks due to Reddit user kisop for putting together this list as can be seen in the above link:
•Modded multiplayer : No confirmation.
•Smarter AI vs bonus for AI in higher difficulties : No definitive answer.
•Expansion of diplomacy : Touched upon sending delegation to uncover agenda, casus beli and surprise war.
•Revolution in cities : Declined to answer but said local unhappiness should be kept in check.
•
DLC : Digital deluxe edition includes first batch of dlc.
•Religion : More info to come later.
•New civs : Not yet seen civs to come. Favourites from older games will be kept.
•Scenarios in single player : Will be supported either officially or through mods.
•Pillaging districts : In campus, research labs are pillaged first followed by university and library.
•Encampments get ranged attack and can defend on their own.
•As units spawn in encampments and not city tile, encampments should also be targets of siege.
Most interesting part of this for me is the Deluxe Edition DLC mention. We probably all expected that there would be something coming with the game, but that it mentions the "first batch", does that mean that the first of the four DLC's will ship with the game (a la Babylon)?, or is there a lot more DLC that they're already planning beyond the four that come as a Season Pass of sorts with the Deluxe Edition? If the former, how much does a "batch" constitute?
