New leader civics

Most people believe, but we can't be sure. We do have a general idea of how late it can be because, eventually, there is an Egyptian record of the Kingdom of Israel being utterly destroyed (so they had to have entered Canaan before that point). But there is no record of anything to indicate the Exodus during the reign of Rameses.

Aside from that, if we at least work on a practical level. Slavery in Egypt did not exist like slavery elsewhere. Slaves could own land and had some rights. In that regard, slavery doesn't fit Rameses. However, in Ancient Egypt, the Pharaoh owned everyone, so everyone could be forced to work for him.

Well that would justify slavery... however I think they are more trying to create an Arab-Egyptian bloc (they both go to, and like Theocracy... meaning that if they are also the same religion, they will have really good relations, if they are different religions, then they will have OK relations... and they will never change out of it)

As for Slavery being obsoleted, by the late game that is also true of Hereditary Rule

Alright, one more question for the magnificent Mr. Bee. Are there any new resources or tile improvements in Warlords?
Some previews seemed to indicate that this was so.
From the civfanatics warlords page:
"Besides these major features, the expansion will also include three new resources and a trebuchet unit. Below we will list all the known info about each of the major features."

It sounds quite specific, so i would assume there will be new resources.

Well, its slavery meets serfdom meets theocracy. Since the Pharaoh is also a god on earth, it would only make sense for the Egyptians to do everything for him. And its a serfdom in the same way serfs were treated later, they couldn't be bought or sold and were tied to the land (even though they could be taken away for other projects).

however I think they are more trying to create an Arab-Egyptian bloc (they both go to, and like Theocracy... meaning that if they are also the same religion, they will have really good relations, if they are different religions, then they will have OK relations... and they will never change out of it)

Its possible

Does hereditary rule cause unhappiness if you stay in it after a certain point?
