My poor pocket book!

This year seems to be headed for an RTS strong year, where as '05 was FPS focused.

I am looking forward to the Medieval 2: Total War (even though strangely I don't own any of the predecessors!) and the new pirate based games such as "Tortuga: Pirate's Revenge" and "Pirates of the Burning Sea". The new "Rise and Fall: Civilizations at War" looks pretty cool, and there is another ancient-based RTS called Sparta. I also loved Act of War and am anticipating highly the expansion for it "High treason". I am also going to purchase the expansion to Cossacks II when it comes out in the summer.

IMO Rise&Fall and MTW2 look most promising strategy games of next year.

I am not gonna buy a new game this year,maybe the exception of the new Warhammer game,got fond memories of playing the Playstation one strategy game.

Shooter,i am satisfied with the Star Wars Battlefront 2.Good to kill other multiplayers before work.I rule!!!

I'm not buying any of them. The only games I enjoy are strategy games, but I'll be darned if I am going to buy a new computer just to play a new strategy game. I updated my video card because Civ IV stupidly went 3D, but that's all I'm doing. I mean, come on, it's a strategy game. You don't need the stupid eye candy.

I'd like to see how Spore is. It sounds interesting. Kinda like a mix between the sims and civilization.

Spore is going to be ASTOUNDING.

The first game to chronicle the entire evolution of a species from the primordeal ooze to becoming a space faring civilization.

I'll never have enough time and money to play all those games...

A problem I have too! I think I'll select about 5 games and only get those (probably gonna be much more than this in reality! ). These are my top picks:

Xp for Cossacks 2
Xp for Act of War
Medieval 2: Total War
Tortuga Pirates Revenge
Rise of Legends
Rise and Fall Civs at War
Maybe an FPS

Remember, they aren't all suddenly going to be released! They will come out one by one.

Its a better experience if its pretty! I think games out to look nice. Its called "progress".
