A VR specialist in the film industry used Photoshop and busts of Roman emperors to create photorealistic portraits of them; perhaps Firaxis could look at these as inspiration for forthcoming Roman leaders, whether in Civ VI DLC or Civ VII? (Notably, see the differences in the portrayal of Trajan here vs. in Civ VI)

Per the article, these are "AI renditions of Roman emperors Augustus (left) and Maximinus Thrax (right) with their statues."

This is wandering too far into the uncanny valley for my tastes; they look unsettling.

Just more evidence that we got Julius Ceaser renamed. Trajan was a solid guy :mischief:

Just for the record Anton... I don't think you'd fiddle while Rome burned. That would have to be Geoff Knorr :mischief:

Still closer to historical reality than the Trajan we got, who really is just Julius Caesar renamed (especially with the Alea iacta est line). :p

Oh, good, I'm not the only one who thought it.
So mean!

Maybe it's the limitations of marble as a medium, but these dude have some wide-ass necks.

A lot of them were soldiers...
