New pitboss

Guys I finished my turn (sorry for the delay long hours at work) but my PC crashed as I was viewing around after. No idea what that has done to the server can't get it back up atm. Sorry all

I left it unpaused for you.

Will check in few hours if you managed to play and pause again if need be.

Sorry, just before looking in and playing I tried to make myself a beverage... Now just getting back from the hospital with bloody 3rd degree burns.

I should be able to play first thing. Sorry for the delay

Ouch.

Hope you got the good painkillers at least. My doctor was stingy for my 3rd degree burn episode, and in a fit of pain-induced insanity I soaked my bandage-covered arm in ice water repeatedly. Which relieved the pain nicely, but ultimately made things worse.

vodka is a good substitute for pain medication, but should a large amount to silence third-degree burns.

Yeah, get better soon. Burning is indeed very painful.

Ice - cold water helps, but there is a trick to avoid irritating the wounds - you put your arm (or the ice) in plastic bag beforehand.

Thanks for the kind wishes. Moving again! I had an unfortunate misclick last turn where I accidentally moved a member off a stack. Nothing to reload about but annoying nonetheless. I could have rectified it at the turn roll moving him back onto the stack but I am unsure of the etiquette here? He stayed still anyway.

I had so many bandages on, the cold couldn't get through them plus the bag. At some point after about 40 hours of pain and no sleep, the bag started filling with ice water and soaking the bandage and it felt so good I didn't stop it.

5 days of wet bandage later, the unburned skin was coming off in chunks.

I have jelonet dressings to keep the skin moist now the initial tissue damage is halted. I still have to go to work though, I am just not allowed to touch any patients. Essentially I am currently sat at a desk and giving advice/orders. Rather good fun but time off would be nicer to nurse it a little!

Thank you, but I just wanted to say that wrong buttons, but I already finished my turn so that you can safely play if the ninja has run its course.
