New Polls needed

We need to devise a series of polls before next turnchat:

Great Scientist:

Academy
City Specialist
Education 1779 beakers (3/4 of needed research)

Roman War:

Negotiate Peace now (Maps and monotheism)
Negotiate Peace after Cumae
Continue War with Rome

German Relations

Negotiate Feudalism, maps and 70 gold for Civil Service
Attack Germany after Roman Peace Agreement
Attack Germany , for a two front war with Germany and Rome
Status Quo

We also need to vote on research plan, another poll.

We also need to discuss and poll future use of civics on the basis of policies stated above. This will impact a national economic plan.

Finally, we need a national economic plan, which either tries to turn the deficit and increase the research level, or stay put on present policies.

I see our American/Texan friend here is not too worried about the deficit, but so are very few Americans. I am concerned about the deficit, and I admit that. Anyhow, we need to poll our economic policies somehow.

Are we sure where we want the Academy, Specialist? EA seems to be the most popular option sofar.

Roman War:

Negotiate Peace now (Maps and monotheism)

Wouldn't it be better to split this one up into two parts: Peace (Yes/No) and If peace, then before or after taking Cumae

German Relations

Negotiate Feudalism, maps and 70 gold for Civil Service

These options aren't mutually exclusive, I would seriously consider trading for Feudalism and declaring on them the same turn. (Argh, we may have to split this one up too). And you're also splitting up both war votes again.

We also need to vote on research plan, another poll.

This one depends mostly on whether we want to bulb Education or not IMO. If we're going to bulb Education for a part, the logical answer is to complete Education.

I am worried about the deficit and I am an American, this generalization is falling apart

For the question of civics I think that's a good idea we've had a good amount of discussion about it in my opinion, and I'm sure that we can find out what the preferences are with a group of polls (one for each civic type)

Seems like we've got a lot of polling to do before the next TC

I suggest a war of pillage/city razing to get rid of it.
Warmongers will be happy, so will the ones worried about fixing the economy.
