1. Can you nuke a city with a wonder and destroy the wonder and/or destroy the entire city? Or will you just nuke the city down to size 1?

2. Does the AI "know" when it will win the UN election, and hold the vote then?

3. Can captured workers (instead of my workers) be used to make radar towers? Is there any kind of penalty for this?

4. Do captured workers cause unhappiness in any particular form of government?

In my last game, I lost because the AI built the UN and held an election in 2035. I was poised to drop 4 ICBM and 3 tactical nukes on the city with the UN. On the good side, when uranium appeared on the map, all five sources of it were in my territory.

1. No, you can't. Nuke it down to size 1 and drop paratroopers or marines, something like that.
2. Probably. I was wondering myself this morning how you could calculate whether you'll win or not.
3. Hmmm, no clue. I think so though, without penalty. You only get a penalty for having slaves (their mothercountry dislikes you).
4. Heh. No.

You know, dropping nukes certainly won't help you win the U.N. vote.
As an aside, we have the quick answers thread for these sort of questions.

I do not know for sure, but it is quite possible that the mother country would class it as disbanding the worker, and so dislike you for it.

Yep, anything that loses a slave worker counts the same as disbanding (attitude hit).

Edit: This also incudes building a foreign settler and building a city (since you use 2 pop to build and only 1 is got back when you build it). Sucks eh?

Of course you can use a civ that has died and no hit is recieved.

i think there sould be a small wonder called :integration so slave workers become normal workers and still don't cost you money.
its should be a wonder available with nationalism and a cost of 1000 shields

Yeah. Kinda like that founding father in Colonization. Or maybe workers should be integrated after some turns, like citizens.

If I buy a worker from an AI civ, what business have they getting mad at me for having this slave worker dig irrigation canals for me? They sold it to me!

:/
