new terrain graphics: rugged hills

I've created 3 versions of rougher hills. See below.

I think you've missed the /uploads4/ thing as the link doesn't work. Some people can't download .pcxs, so you should attach things as a zip.

They are cool, but what terrain set are you using? It look like Cordys, but it isn´t, right?

We definitely need new hills to replace the orginal drab ones. I prefer your set #1 and want to use it, but there is a problem with it when one hill is by itself it looks like a melting chocolate chip cookie with afalpha mixed into it.

Also, the set #2 looks much better in your preview than on my screen. When I loaded it up it looks like aloe vera gel mixed with melting chocolate chips and crushed asparagus so it looks tasty but its a little too muddy for troops to stand on.

Thanks for your graphics mod. IMHO once you touch up the single hill graphic for #1 it will be good.

I think it was Snoopy's, but I modified various stuff, especially the plains. I'd post it, but it needs alot of fixin'. Eventually I'll fix it and post it.

Excellent! the melting chocolate chip is exactly what I was looking for, with some oatmeal and brown suga in it. I don't see where you get crushed asparagus, though. Yeiech.

Both of these hill sets look best with Snopy's terrain set.

I liked the one hill by itself better than the original, but I'll make a new one and post it.

Thanks joebadass. By the way, I think my main concern with the stand-alone hill is it looks way too flat - almost like a pit in the ground filled with the melting goodies.

Kinboat, I put together a sweet-looking combo of graphics: Telqar's forest & jungle, Crist2000's railroads, Womok/snoopy's grey mountains, grass-colored grass, and improved water graphics plus some excellent irrigation graphics posted by the person who made the watercolor graphics (I think Crody made them) and many new resources off of GIDustin's compiled resources picture file.

EDIT: Okay, I tried these new rugged hills#3 and they're great. Heaps better than the dull original hills. Thanks.
