New TOT ruleset?

Has anyone made a ruleset for TOT, original game (no aliens) that uses up ALL the tech/unit slots? Perhaps something that extends existing time periods or even goes far into the future?

Would really like to try something new.

On a side note: have you made your own personal rule set that you enjoy playing with?

You mean like adding more units and advancements to the game? I'm afraid that the space for user-created researches is limited, so it won't probably extend the game very much.

Recently I've completed my own events file, and created seven new engineer units for a sci-fi game. It grants each race a possibility to travel to other maps ONLY after they have a requisite technology (like Forward Vectoring). Each engineering unit is civ-specific and cannot be bribed so this makes the space race more interesting. Also, makes the sci-fi game more fair.
