Well I had planned on making a modern upgrade wearing a trench coat and using a submachine gun of some sort... A Molotov cocktail may be just the thing for that one.

How about making it a female unit? We need more female units.

Hey, I love women, but having this unit be a woman would be a tad unrealistic. I imagine most people would use it as a muslim extremist type, and we all know how they stand on women.

There are plenty of female extremists/guerillas. The Tamil Tigers (Hindu) have an entire wing of 3000 female fighters. European and South American groups are represented with female members.

As far as female Islamic extremists, well I just did a google search with the term "female terrorists" and these are from the first two pages only:

I always liked the civ2 spy. Despite being pixelated, you knew she was a babe!

Love this unit!
Kinboat, just wondering, would it be hard for you to but a sword in his hand and bull the hood down from his head.
I'm useing this unit to represent ancient druids, I would like to have it upgradable to a christian monk with a sword.
