New Unit: Farmhand - July 21, 2010

General 666... No Bug, that was intentional. I like Units that are suppose to Hit the Enemy when Attacking to actually do so and that requires making each attack direction separately because each direction needs different angles and lengths to reach the enemy :)
 
Worker action request seconded. Actually, thirded.

And once again - congratulations, Vuldacon. Your skills are amazing. This is a very lifelike unit, and I'm looking forward to seeing it beating up zombies.
 
This farm dude of yours is fantastic - love the way he takes the straw hat off and starts to fawn when he gets too hot. That's as close to reality as it gets :) Crisp animations too. Could easily also be used as a worker unit.

Would love to see this dude with darker skin tones (brown and black) to complement

...has anyone listened to the Victory sound?
I had to concentrate not to laugh when making it. Wanted to keep the basic Flavor for the Farmers in EFZI2 Complete as they have been depicted in the game.
 
A great unit, as always. The animations are very realistic and I too like the hat fanning.

If people want Old West type workers, there's always my Prospector and American Worker units, although they're not exactly like this one. Unfortunately my worker animations couldn't be applied to this unit because they use a different human figure.
 
Great job here Greg! I'm glad you finally got yourself the unit you wanted with that very natural and lifelike look and feel you wanted. Everyone noticed it, so there's no need to say it (but I would say it anyway): this is one of the best human units around here (although I really liked the Drunk)! And I will check the sounds you made ASAP!
 
Thanks Plotinus... I agree that your Worker Units are what players should use for Workers as they are excellent. I use the Prospector for the Farmers and I also use the Chain gang worker that is auto-produced from the Prison on Paradise Island. They are "infected" with Zombie Virus until one of the Human Factions can capture the Prison and correct it. Then that Human Faction Gains the Chain Gang Worker. I set it up to use the Mine animation with faster Speed for the Attack.
