I just relaized- the modern legionary makes the almost perfect "ODST" (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper) from the game halo 2

I dunno, I love the idea of a progression of realistic units for civs that didn't last to have them. Much better than having to use another race's tanks, planes and garbage scows! And what better civ than Rome? Kudos!!

In fact, I read a three volume (imagine that!) sci fi series once that featured a war between a modern day Roman Empire and Aztec Empire. Great concept and the cover art was great. The artist really kept the motifs for each race intact 500 to a thousand years past their expiration. But I'm not hinting at an Aztec battleship or anything, naw...

That guy's really cool. Good work. Although I sort of don't need to say that to Kinboat. I bet this guy would look pretty cool bashing some of Goldflash's Cathaginian tanks (if he can convince someone to make them).

It was a trilogy by Kirk Mitchel. The first one was "Procurator" the second was "The New Barbarians" and the third one was "Cry Republic." They were published in the early '80's but I think you can still find them in some used book stores and probably on Amazon or B&N.

I'd love to see an advanced Aztec civ done for C3C. Such a unique culture and so different from what we're used to. Could really have fun with the designs.

Just posting the pic here, 'cause it's cool.

Other than the fact that the soldier is apparently carrying a bullpup rifle (and I detest bullpups) awesome unit.

As for cammo and stuff, I think all that would be needed would be a quick color change of the armor from grey to neutral brown (like the color of the ODST troops posted above)

Well, I'd like a "normal" rifle-carrying Modern Legion, but still...

I love it! the only problem is I need some sounds for it.
as for the ODSTs, the paradrop animation would be different along with colors and the helmet.
