Actually, I was considering making some Mongol units with these models....
I think these are from a different era than Kinboat's... maybe when they had more of a budget?

Yes, and now that I'm home for the semester, I intend to get a lot of units done! And I've improved some of my skills recently too, so my units will be even better...
I've also got a new fast computer that cuts rendering time to a tenth of what it used to be... hopefully I can have the first components of the cut and paste pack out within two weeks or so... I've already made a bunch of the animations with the harlequin.
Also, during breaks, I've been working on other units. Expect a nice little addition for those looking for more flavor units tomorrow or the next day... Actually, I don't know about tomorrow what with Conquests coming out! ;-)

Thanks... one question though... what's with the palm tree and spartan helmet? I sort of understand the spartan helmet (antique and all) but a palm tree?

Uhm welcome, first of all glad you like it !!!
Err, the Palm tree is actually the Afrika Korps expeditionary force one (or rather the palmtree of the Gruppe Afrika- as there were various versions of it):
note: picture added for display reasons only and will be removed at request
Since neither T.R.T. nor I myself take any interest in fascism but unit making I replaced the Swas. (also because I think the Spartan Helmet fits perfectly with the idea of the antique award) So, in the end you have a mix of historical and fictuous data- and even looks nice....

War is a good thing.
Whoa, nice unit here.Sorry just to bump this up, but I wanna make sure no one misses this unit like I almost did. It's excellent for adding some spice to the Middle Ages conquest by including the mongol civ (vital considering the effect they had in history in that era).
