New Unit: Partisan (July 9, 2005)

Once again, one of my least favorite states produces something fantastic. Very happy to see this unit.
Now just one criticism: I like brown as much as the next guy, but don't you think he's over doing it a little? If for the only reason his guns and other armaments are difficult to differentiate from his clothes.

That's a nice looking Snapphane.
The Scanians were pretty much forced to turn Swedish overnight (not ethnic cleansing, but ethnic indoctrination), so it's no surprise that some of them turned partisan.

Great unit!!!!!!!!!! I hope you don't mind - I'm taking liberties with it. I may make him a "frontiersman" as a UU American rifleman (Minuteman is my musketman). He has a bit of a Grizzly Adams look to him.

Ooh, I'm very tempted to put this into the WH Mod... a duellist, or Bandiosa? Hmm, I'll have to think it over. Great unit!

But doesn't the WH world go to the 16th century or so? A 17th century musketman doesn't really fit, does it?

Great unit. In Civ2 partisans appeared when a city was taken. Wonder why that doesn't happen in Civ3?
