New Unit: V-2 (A-4) Missile

No, the animation is too large, flicster can't handle flics of this size.
 
The animations are set up for tactical missiles/icbms. So I'd recommend this be used as a tactical missile, unless you want some pretty ugly results. It was technically a theater missile and judging by its characteristics, it would have likely been able to carry a nuke to tactical ranges without any modificiations, and carry one to theater ranges with modifications that would have been likely to have happened by the time the Germans had nukes.

I don't know if the AI will use it if you flag it as tactical missile only (not a nuke).
 
actually you can make it a non-nuke and still have it a tactical missile
 
I've been testing this unit in-game, and there seems to be no way to implement it as anything other than a nuke. Anyone have any ideas? The animations are - as stated above - incompatible with a cruise missile.

Sorry for the bump, but I like this unit ... I just don't want to use it as a nuke.
 
Now that the master is back, let me ask my question again -- any way of making a non-nuke version of this? As in, a missile that looks like this which I can launch as a "cruise missile" instead of a as a "nuke" weapon?
 
I've been really busy with another game, as well as exams, so I don't know just how back I am.

@gorn: Have you tried what Raptor1 suggested? I admit I never tried this as a non-nuke. If it's impossible, it's a case of bad programming and design by Firaxis.
 
I tried to make it a non nuke, it looks REALLY bad It launches straight up and then it uses the flight animation and it kinda drifts side ways before crasing and exploding, This can be fixed only by turning the rocket sideways and making a new death Animation where it crashes into the ground like the cruise missle.
