Heh, very nice!

I was going to make a request for someone to make a Transformers-type unit a while ago, with the basis in-game being that the fortify animation would be for transformation, but only if when units unfortify the animation is reversed. It doesn't reverse though so I never bothered.

This unit isn't a transformer, its from the Anime series Robotech. Though Transformers units would be cool. I'd make only generic ones though, like Decepticon Hunter-Seekers for example.

i remember when i was little trying to draw mechas

i downloaded and saved a whole bunch of robot pics and one of them was the (excuse spelling) valkaryie (?).

i think that was a/the vertitech?

It could have been...theres alot of different Mecha animes and mecha genres, many of those shows have different names for the term "Mecha", like Mobile Suit(Gundam) or Robotechs(from show of the same name)

Robotech is short for Robotechnology, the science behind the mecha, power systems and the man-machine link. It's not the name for the machines.

Nameless, you are correct. That was the Japanese term for the tranforming aircraft used in Macross. It is not the term for the American version anyway.

I'm sorry Wyrm....I only saw two episodes of Macross, and the tail end of the movie....in one translation they called them Robotechs(I'm serious), now that you mention it though, I seem to recall the Valkerie from the Macross section of the Mecha Domain.
