New Version – 5.0-alpha.03

The question is why more than 20 city-states are not created ( I mean, when you set, for example, 30-50, the city is still only 20 ) in version Mod_VP_43Civ_EUI_5.0-alpha.03 ( during the test there were 2 players and 60 city state)?

Is this done on purpose or is it a bug?

Considering that in every civ, the vast vast majority of players play on the most newbie difficulty....I would actually assume that settler is used heavily, and things like prince are underused if anything is.
Yes, that's what I wrote/meant.
I assume Settler is used most.

Why you play 43 civs? If you want more CS? I easily have 38 CS with 15 AI on huge map. I didn't play 5.0 yet.

I oscillate between prince and king. It depends on the Civ I am playing. I occasionally try Emperor and usually don't survive very long.
Pretty similar over here. I usually play on King, but occasionally try Emperor. The latter feels like a constant struggle to maintain relevant while not getting overwhelmed by other Civs. King tends to be a bit too easy, though.

I've been playing on King since this update because the other modmods aren't updated yet. With many modmods, the balance becomes a bit more wacky so I typically go up to emperor to adjust for that.

I used to play settler for my first time with a civ. Now I just play Deity and re-play until I win. To each his own.

Big thanks to devs for their work. Played a couple run throughs that have mostly ended in CTD. The precondition events/building check and liberated vassal bugs have been nasty. Other than that been a smooth experience.

I’ve been trying to compile the DLL in order to patch the precondition bug with axatin’s fix on GitHub - with an end goal of trying to recover a 320 turn savegame. Following along with the posted guide, however can’t find a working download link to VS2008 or 2010 anywhere so any pointers on that would be great - or else, any ETA/update on the beta?
