As I mentioned, also an entry in the 'units' table was fine, not necessary a promotion.
(Promotion is the first thing that crossed my mind because this is the way I usually give special feature to units).

I just wanted the possibility to extend or eliminate this feature, in any way, and I asked because I thought it could have been simple to add.

However, maybe it is much harder than I thought, so, nevermind.

Ulixes.

Haven't tried the newest versions and was wondering how the new village (trading post) design is working for you all. My first thought was that the yield boost from being on trade routes/roads between cities (isn't that how it works..?) combined with the fact that they can not be built adjacent to each other could mean a lot of micro management but I'd like to hear your opinion on this.

I really like it actually. It isn't too much micromanagement for me, it feels more like an actual national economy. Cities, highways between them, and the small towns along the way. Farms, plantations, and mines on the outskirts.

I have to hand it to Gazebo and team, the changes they've made in this mod make the game feel brand new. It's really fun to play Civ 5 like this.

Oh and Gazebo what was the previous exponent factor before? Thanks

I really like the trade route/village design. I was never a big user of the trading post, now its value (which arguably was there all along) is evident.

The previous exponent was 1.95, I believe. Vanilla is 2.01 (it is in the text above the value).

I'm glad you like the trade posts – I thought it was a simple change, but one that made villages feel a bit more 'alive' than in vanilla civ. It also makes early routes connecting cities all the more valuable.
