As of the latest update to the CP, it is having a serious conflict with ExCE. For some reason, it is preventing any terrain immunities from happening (ex units produced in a jungle city have no jungle immunity).

Does 'Open Borders' do anything besides bonus tourism? I think I heard something about trading bonus.

About information in game, is it too much to know the exact wonders, policy trees and techs of each civs only by looking at their icons in EUI? Because that feels like cheating :cringe:
Is it possible that you attain that knowledge only by sending a spy(spy or diplomat)? I will seriously consider sending one only to know exactly how behind in techs or policies I am, especially if Im considering building a policy related wonder!
Thanks you for the hard work.

In vanilla this information is available under the various diplomacy menus (and still is in EUI). As a general rule EUI doesn't tell you anything you couldn't find out if you knew where to look.

You can calculate the amount of tech from the score, policy picks are hidden somewhere in the diplomacy overview, so are wonders.
Your best bet would be is playing with monitor turned off, that will exclude any possible cheating on your side.

I don't think that you have to be rude like this.He probably didn't play much of CIV V and that's reason he isn't aware that those things were under his nose all the time, even with vanilla UI.

Actually, I found whereabouts of foreign policies and techs only after using EUI and checking deliberately for them in vanilla interface. Vanilla interface is THAT good at presenting such crucial info.

I have a question and this is something that always somehow slipped my mind but now when I had done couple minutes ago I intend to ask. I noticed quite few times that after using merchant to get money from CS, I get "We Love the King day" in every city.Is this suppose to happen ?

Edit:Never mind it is suppose to happen after all , because I got notification and I didn't read CSD change description : )

"The great wealth brought back by your Great Merchant has led your empire to celebrate 'We Love The King Day' for 30 turns

In this case it's culture city and my reputation with CS is friendly.

Yes, it is intended. Great Merchants and Admiral changed their instant action to something more useful.

Ah, I know about Great Admiral and it's changed ability. I just never paid much attention to GM mechanics, because I mainly used him for money or GPT boost.

I just had great diplomats spawn on every turn on me in a game, this has been an issue before, is this a regression, or something went wrong in the install?

You probably messed up the install, as that have been the cause of the problem all the times before.

Yeah thought as much, probably forgot to clear the cache.

Suggestion: make installer clear the cache!

Deleting files outside of the install directory is risky. Could delete wrong files if folders somehow moved. Nah, if someone can't read this one instruction... That's on them.

Another suggestion then. A large "Remember to clear the cache" sign, when the intaller is at the "finished" page.

There will be always someone that ignores or just read over a step that will then result in those questions that come in a everyday modders-life. At some point they have to know how to use their brain.exe or they will fail, I have the feeling that brain.exe becomes more and more a tool of the elder. I love the word.. Elder.. I guess I translated too much mods in Skyrim.. The Elder Scrolls :crazyeye:

Yes but I think that adding reminder won't hurt anyone.

But it literally says to clear the cache in the readme before the installation.
