News: BOTM 110 Results and Congratulations

Military wins dominated this set of results, headed by Zhary’s 1700AD domination, featuring an astonishing (for such an early date) base score of 8030 – winning him the gold medal. That base score was beaten by donsig – with a truly incredible 14669. But that was for a July 2043AD cultural win, so many turns later.

Back to the medals, Solyaris and Jovan Kukic took silver and bronze for conquest victories. Solyaris also got fastest conquest – 1050AD, while fastest domination went to Ronnie1 in 1280AD. There was only one successful space win – for kcd_swede, who therefore picks up fastest space by default, although the 1907AD date was not exactly the fastest ever in a GOTM competition! neilmeister got fastest culture in 1500AD – so we have two GOTM staff who picked up medals, with HassiSan (diplo, 1909AD) and magpie_robert (religious, 1645AD) completing the tally of fastest finishes.
